Painted in vibrant colour and expressive detail, the kingfisher sits proudly at the heart of the piece amongst the bullrushes. 
 
22 karat gold embellishments have been carefully added by hand, allowing the painting to catch and reflect the light, much like sunlight dancing across the surface of a flowing river.
 
The original painting has now found its forever home, but it remains a special part of my collection and creative story.
